Frank Pitts Cooper

Clifton - Frank Pitts COOPER, 89, of Water St., here, died at 5:20 pm Friday in the Fairborn Nursing Home, in Fairborn.

Mr. COOPER was born in Cincinnati, November 9, 1876, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Susan GRINDLE COOPER. Before retirement, 15 years ago, he had been employed as a maintenance engineer for the Frigidaire Plant, Division of General Motors of Dayton, for 26 ½ years. He was a 50-year member of Cincinnati Price Hill Lodge No. 524, Free and Accepted Masons.

Survivors include the widow, Anna Mae; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma DAVIS of Clifton, Mrs. Greta SINCLAIR and Mrs. Lucille DeLAY, both of Columbus, and Mrs. Dorothy STOUT of Springfield; one son, Frank of Fairborn; 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Jackson, Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home in Yellow Springs where friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Private service will be held at 3 pm, Monday in the Cliffside United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Corry, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Clifton Cemetery.
