About 1822 when Jean was 21, she married Richard DENT, son of Joseph Hollingsworth DENT & Ann (Nancy) TONGE. Born circa 1797 in Lincolnshire, England. Was on the census for Hornellsville, Steuben, New York in 1840. Richard died in Menomonee, Wisconsin on 11 May 1850, he was 53.
